Tips After Your Pup Returns Home From Boarding

We want the best for your furry family members, even after their stay with us. Here are some helpful tips to make their return home go smoothly for you and them.
Boarding dogs must be:
  • At least four months old
  • If not old enough for all vaccines, the dog must be isolated and kept away from other boarding dogs.
  • Current on vaccinations for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (Bordetella vaccine due every 6 months)
  • Current on 6 month fecal screening
  • In good health, flea- and tick-free, and friendly with people and other dogs
If your dog requires vaccines before boarding, get in touch with our on-site veterinary clinic, Center Grove Animal Clinic. Wellness exams and all appropriate vaccines for boarding will cost $98.00, plus $20.00 for fecal examination. Call us to know more about our services.

Overnight Boarding Instructions
  • Check-ins and check-outs: Drop-off and pickup times are between 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays between 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM for regular customers. If you're using our facility for the first time, you must submit all necessary paperwork prior to drop-off and you need to have all vaccination records approved prior dropping off. Our storefront does not open until 8:00 AM for boarding drop-offs.
  • Arrive early: Your dog will have an easier time settling in at night if it has a few hours of play.
  • Leave your bedding at home: In order to maintain a clean environment for everyone, we'll provide your dog with comfortable bedding for his or her stay.
  • Bring your own food: If your dog has a sensitive tummy, it is best to keep him or her on a regular diet. Please provide enough food for your dog's stay. Kindly make sure you bring food in a Ziploc bag or small container, as we do not have enough space to store your large bins and bags of food.
  • Medications, toys, and treats: All medications should be labeled and include written instructions with your dog’s name, type of medication, dosage and schedule. We request you to leave toys at home.
  • Medication administration: If your pet requires medication, a $1.00 fee per administration will be charged.
