Meet Our Instructors
Hello, my name is Lisa and I started my grooming career over 23 years ago. I’ve worked in corporate salons, veterinary offices, and private shops and I’ve owned my own salon for the last 10 years. I foster and rescue senior and disabled dogs, and I have an 8-year-old son that I homeschool.
As of September 2023, I decided to sell my grooming salon and retire from grooming full-time due to some physical issues. However, I love everything about grooming dogs so I’m happy to be the lead instructor for the Grooming School of Indiana and show others what an amazing career this is. The opportunities are endless!
I have 2 chihuahuas (Tia and Chewy)and a French bulldog (Cinder), a cat named KitKat who is 21 years old, and a hamster named Penny.
Instructor, Kimberly (Kimmy) began her career by being a bather here at U Dirty Dawg. She then started attending the Grooming School of Indiana and then became a Groomer and Kennel Manager.
Kimberly's passion has always been to be an advocate for pets and educating everyone along the way. She loves to build peer relationships and share her skills with others. She enjoys attending grooming and pet shows around the Indianapolis area to improve her own knowledge, learn skills and information that she can pass along to others so they can succeed in this profession.
Kimberly has always had a love for animals, growing up her family would breed westies, yorkies, toy poodles and miniature schnauzer's. She has handled and cared for many different animals throughout her life and career. Currently she has 2 dogs, a pitbull Smurf and a Chihuahua mix Kiwi.
